Installation Instructions:
Installation and Care of your SinkWorks™ Ceramic Vessel Sink Congratulations! You are now the owner of a unique Ceramic Vessel Sink from The SinkWorks™! With proper installation and care, your sink should last a lifetime.
CAUTION! Unless you are an experienced plumber, do not attempt to install this unit yourself. A licensed plumber or someone familiar with plumbing and sink installations should install it.
Installation Instructions for all countertops 1. Carefully remove your Ceramic Vessel Sink from carton and remove all protective packaging materials. Inspect the sink for any damage. Damage caused in shipping is not the responsibility of The SinkWorks™. You must contact the shipping company and provide them with the necessary details.
2. CAUTION! If this is a new installation, countertop cutout for sink drain should be measured by reviewing the manufacturers instructions for the drain assembly. Most standard lavatory drains require a 1.25” or 1.5” diameter hole.
3. Be sure to rotate the vessel so that the design is properly oriented as per the customer’s instructions.
4. Apply a 1/2” diameter bead of plumber’s putty to the underside of the drain assembly rim and insert into the Ceramic Vessel Sink. Underneath the wooden top, the rubber gasket is applied first, followed by the cardboard gasket (if supplied) and finally the threaded metal retaining nut . Carefully tighten to compress the plumber’s putty until drain is fully and firmly seated in sink. Do not over-tighten! The SinkWorks™ will not accept any returns for broken or cracked sinks caused by over tightening of the drain assembly retaining nut.
